Hello everyone,

I have a Camillus 31 fishing knife with the original box. However this knife has "United States Senate" printed on the back of the blade. Does anyone know why this is there and what the value of a knife like this would be? An approximate year would be great too. I added a picture below, hopefully it worked. If not try here:

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Must be used for fishing for votes. Nice knife but no one can tell you the value unless you are a gold user (paying).

Thanks. I'm new to the forum. Didn't know about the value stuff. I'm really curious about the Senate part though.

We have folks that worked at Camilus come through from time to time and they could know. i would guess that it was a souvenir knife sold at a gift shop in the Senate. In the old days knives were sold as souvenirs almost everywhere. As far as the value, the bay is the best place because the prices are not set.

Camillus did special orders for all sorts of organizations, clubs & businesses.

Maybe a local Senator bought a few for gifts?
