Hey guys can someone give me a little help with this knife. I have researched Google and found that the 695 was made between 1972 and 2003. This knife was supposedly made at the Camillus Custom Shop but I could not locate anything about a custom shop. The knife apparently was custom made by Wallace J Rockwell Jr at 54 Main St Camillus NY but again I could not find anything there. A business card for him shows a telephone and fax that are disconnected.
I have attached few photos for help.
Thanks, Mike

Had to be prior to 2012 as they went bankrupt in 2011 and the New place that bought them stopped making that particular and not have bamboo handles. Thanks, Mike

Wallace was the premier Camillus Cutlery sample maker & project engineer.

He bought the "Model Shop" at the factory auction in 2007.
He still sells some of his work today.

Great buy.

Mike,
Wallace Rockwell is still active in the knife business. He sells Camillus knives and makes his own knives. He does excellent work and I have bought many knives from him for my personal collection. I will be seeing him next week and I will let him know about your posting here concerning one of his knives.
Your knife would have been manufactured between 1989 and 2007. The tang stamp on your knife looks like the last stamping used by Camillus that reads "CamilluS". It is hard to tell from your photos, but that is what the tang stamp looks like. The handles appear to be abalone and your knife is custom made because Camillus never made a Marlin Spike with abalone handles for the regular line.

Hi, the tang stamp is as you described. There is also a business card with the knife Wallace J Rockwell Jr Prototype & Custom Knife Maker.
I telephoned the number and also the fax number. Both show disconnected. The address on the card is 54 Main St Camillus, NY 13031.
If you do see him please ask of a possible year and the value of it. I paid a handome price but now find myself in a position of selling for necessity.
