Hi guys !!!

Does anybody have the Camillus Aftermath ? I was seeking for some pictures of it's pocket clip, but couldn't find any.

Does anybody know how this ROBO opening method works ?

And, what are your geneal opinions on this knife ?

Thanks in advance,

Andre Tiba - Brazil

Great knife Andre. The robo arm works well with the ones I've had. The heavy blade snaps out and the framelock lockup is as solid as they come. The clip mounts around the pivot screw on the backside but www.knifekits.com offers a "deep-carry" clip that really works well for the Aftermath and for the Cuda Maxx.

I don't own one, but I played with one at a recent gun show I attended. That thing is a monster :) . It opened great, solid. It locked up nice. I really liked it, but did I say that thing is a monster. It is bigger than my FB EDC.

Here's a picture of the clip side of my Camillus Aftermath:

I can't give you details about how the ROBO mechanism works, but I can tell you that it works well. It takes a stiffer push to get it started than the Speed-Safe designs. For me that meant it took longer to become casual with. The same attribute makes it extremely resistant to accidental opening. Not a bad tradeoff, I think. Once you get used to it the presentation is very fast.

My general opinion is that the Aftermath is one of the best-designed and best-made production knives ever produced. It offers an outstanding grip, a versatile blade shape, total reliability, and strength to match most fixed blades. And you get it all in a package that is slimmer and lighter than a lot of much smaller knives. I've carried mine every day since they first became available and I don't expect that to change.
