Found this pic of Camillus BK&T's sitting on a Becker patrol pac in an old book by Ed Fowler.Who would of thunk the old Wyoming bladesmith liked a knife that was not forged of 52100 and hafted with a sheeps headgear.

How do ya' like them apples Ethan?;)

Ethan earned my respect very early in our knifemaking endeavors. In my opinion he was then and is now one of the good guys.

Too bad the pic isn't showing up :(

Mr. Fowler has written many articles showing knives from other makers and manu's (vintage and modern) with features he admires.

There we go.Getting to wade through Ethans vast trove of knives is almost like seeing the history of knives in the last 40 yrs.One of the first things I asked was "ya'got any by Ed Fowler".Alas no Willow Bow steel, mayhaps you can rectify that gap in his collection Mr. Fowler?Just joshin' though it is nice to see you post on a thread I started.

He is at that, and a real pleasure to chew the fat with. One of the only folks I ever talked to who knew about a movie called The Earthling which had a knife as a central part of the story, not to mention the discussion me,him, and mouses .popgun had about the boys of Pamwe Chet. And him and Moose can eat a lot of big pretzels also.A fine figure of a man.Cheerful in all weathers, never shirks a task.

That's pretty cool right there willis. Thanks for posting that.

I do have his book "The Joy of Cooking" he is a master of many talents.

I still remember the look on my wife's face when I told her that the same guy who designed by BK2 was an editor for her copy of "The Joy of Cooking" - her jaw hit the floor! :-)

it's always funny when Ethan's name gets tossed around like that

"that crazy man in the beard wielding that large machete... yeah him"
