Hello all,

I have a BK-7 on the way. It's a Camillus, new in the box. I have a lot of knives but find myself very excited about this one.

It's a really great knife, and it also represents - to me, at least - a piece of great American history.

Got my BK-7 Handles are a little slippery for my tastes. Will the Micarta slabs from Ka-Bar fit properly?

Other than that nice blade. Almost added a Brute but someone on here got to it first.

If its a Camillus Becker I would put it in the display case. Nothing negative here about Ka Bar, its just you can buy a Ka Bar Becker anytime. since Camillus closed their knives are in demand.

I called Ka-Bar and they said that the micarta handles will fit the Camillus BK7. In fact, that's what I'm in the process of doing with mine right now.

I got the micarta slabs for my Camillus becker 7 and they fit great, feels like a different knife with the increased texture on the grip. I just had to make sure to push or punch the nuts all the way in the hole to make sure the threads from the screw took hold.
