1) trade - No. If anything the Camillus is worth a bit more because it is out of production. Your Camillus was worth a lot more before KA-BAR began production. The price on the Camis has since dropped dramatically. My theory: There are some collectors yes, but I believe that most people who were looking for these prior to KA-BAR beginning production wanted them to use. That's why the demand for the Camillus has dropped, those who want a user buy the KA-BAR and get the warranty.
2) keep - If you are a collector, keep it. Even though the price has dropped it is a collectible. (no one throw stones please.) Or, just keep it to use. I'm sure there has been a thread on the comparison between the Camillus and KA-BAR versions, but these knives scream "USE ME". It's a good knife!
3) sell - You could probably come out a few bucks ahead by selling the Camillus and buying a new KA-BAR. It'll give some collector a chance to get his/her hands on it and you will get a great knife with a warranty. A quick review of outrageousfeeBay came up with one at $85 and one at $86 including shipping. After paying 9% sales fee and 3% PayPal fee and then $8 or so to send it to the buyer, you will be lucky to net the $75 or so you would need to get the KA-BAR.
My recommendation, for what it's worth... use it. It is sitting in a closet somewhere screaming to go to work.
Hope this helps,
Greg
