I am just checking for some quick opinions to see if a very slightly used Camillus version Becker 10 Crewman in Desert color with desert colored grips is worth $190 as a user?
I already have a BK1 Brute, BK9 Combat Bowie and BK11 Necker(All Camillus vesions) and am looking for a size in between. Everyone seems to love the BK2 so thought I'd see if anyone thinks the BK10 is worth the extra money.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I think its worth it. Are you talking about the one on the bay by any chance.

No way, totally not worth it. It's not that cool of a color first off (pinky tan). If there was one from $100 to $120 i'd hit it. which by the way is what I paid for 2 of the Black camillus BK 10's.

That's the one. It's the first one I've seen available since I started collecting Beckers.
While I like it, it's more than I want to pay, especially since I have stripped every Becker I have, so I doubt the desert coating would last long. I can't see paying the extra money just for the desert grips, when I will change them out with micarta as well.
I need to find a BK10 with the coating already beat up, not one that is more of a collector's edition.
I just needed someone to basically tell me no.
Thanks

There were three on the exchange this week so far. Id keep an eye out better prices here then on ebay.

I did not know that and will start watching for them. I didn't really know that I wanted one, until I seen that one on ebay anyway.
Thanks

Just keep an eye out in the snark thread. We usually post up that somethings going up for sale in there.

No!, that is all.

It's a cool knife for a collector, especially if you want to make more of an investment than a use purchase.
I have to side with Fal'er here. It's interesting, but not THAT interesting. Definately not a user.
