well, since about the day after the Becker forum opened up, there were some general rules...
one of them:
'''Q: Pricing/value questions, especially for speculative sellers, ESPECIALLY if you are not "GOLD" or higher - Bladeforums requires GOLD to sell... The gods get VERY cranky about this. This is covered under the "for the love of ghod, do not ask this question"
A: DO NOT DO THIS? clear? penalty: you must send Bladite the item or else '''
if you're only purpose in asking, is for speculation, please, don't. just check ebay. as well, if you're just trying to get eyes on something, and avoid posting it elsewhere, please don't.
wanna talk about the super rare find you got? cool. trying to sell it, and this is your first stop? please don't.

Don't mean to offend. I checked Ebay there were none as far as I could tell. I paid my Gold Membership so asking value is my privilege. You guys not wanting to talk about value makes me think you want me to low ball my sale due to ignorance so someone here can take advantage of me. All I want is a fair price. I am not a Beckerhead. I have a knife I need to sell and it is unfair for you to expect me to sell it with no fair understanding of its value. Been a BF member a long time I think I have paid my dues. I have fallen on financial hard times and need money every penny counts. I you check my posts you can see I am basically selling all my knives and anything else I can. OK will start high and go from there instead of asking a reasonable price. Gee thanks.
Manufacturer forums can establish rules as they see fit provided they are more restrictive. For example, a manufacturer forum couldn't allow a registered user to sell but they can say they don't want discussion of value regardless of membership level. My suggestion would be to start a new thread in General where I'm confident you'll get the info you're looking for.
