First of all I am not about DRAMA, but I have to address this situation.
I am not connected to or part of the company "Camillus Blades USA".
This company does not belong to me in any way. I do not work for them and I do not own any part of the company.
I did not spear head any projects with this company. "I seen this posted somewhere"
I am the Designer of the Heat series of knives themselves manufactured by the now defunct Camillus Cutlery.
I am not the designer of the robo assisted opener that is used in these knives. This system belongs to Bill Taylor.
I approved Camillus Blades USA knife after seeing it only for my portion of the knife.... THE KNIFE DESIGN ITSELF frame and blade. I did not approve the robo assisted opener in the knife. It is Bill Taylors patent and his place to do the inspection of the ROBO if he wants, not mine.
Please understand this is a great knife. I have handled it. The knife part of the design is as good as any import that I have seen.
If you would like to clear up any information about any written word that you have seen or verbal rumors about me please EMAIL me offline. I will be happy to clear up any MIS-INFORMATION that has been spread without my permission. My counsel is looking into this situation to get it rectified.
The information Knife selling outlets have been told about this knife and my involvement may have been skewed or incorrect. If you are one of these fine companies I would appreciate it if you would change any "copy about Darrel Ralph" that is different than what I have said above in this thread.
As an aside it is a great honor to be mentioned the in the same thread as Blackie Collins, Bill Taylor and wild man Philip Gibbs!
