Hey yall, just picked up a camillus boot knife and am having a problem keeping the seath on boot while pulling the knife out. The clip is not tight enough. Any ideas?

Sometimes, (don't work everytime), ya can tweak those clips with a pair of needle nose and get em a little tighter.

Is the retention (of the knife, not the clip) excessive? If so there are ways to relieve some of the friction. May just be that the clip will work better after the knife/sheath interaction smooths out with a little time.
Edit- when I look up "Camillus boot knife" I find a few different blades that have plastic or leather sheaths. Do you know the model number, or have pics of the knife/sheath?
