Just notices the Carbon steel Camillus series. Is this a new line and what are these blades hardened to?

Thanks, :)

Nope, it's not new, but I really like these. The steel is 1095 I believe, and it takes a nice toothy edge easily. I have the stockman and will probably pick up the canoe at some point. It is one of my frequent carries because I like the "feel" of the carbon steel when it cuts. Sorry, I can't describe it... you just have to try it out.

William,
The Carbon Series knives are 1095 carbon, and we temper them to 58 Rc.

Thanks for the interest!
