Camillus/Carson/Kasper Collaboration

I had the good fortune to meet Bob Kasper at this years ECCKS. He whetted my appetite with the above working on something "interesting" for this year. Unfortunately, I don't have any specifics, but it should be VERY cool. Just thought I'd drop a line for all you Forumites. We will have to watch for it!

Btw, I also had a chance to play with the proto production KFF. GREAT for what it is, feels VERY similar to the custom. Inexpensive & REPLACEABLE. A GOOD THROW-AWAY if need be.

Nah, the one I played with was Mr. Kasper's proto with tip INTACT!

Not a bad buy considering what you get. Good idea to have 2 of them in reserve for those "special" times of traversing thru unsavory places where no true custom should go... ^_^

Yes. This was like the standard size KFF. BB blade, part serrated. It also had a metal pocket clip.

I saw an ad in the Cutlery Shoppe catalog. Is it shipping yet?

I ordered mine from cutleryshoppe about a week and a half ago. They told me they should be shipping within two weeks. Again, that was a week and a half ago - so they should be coming soon (I hope). They haven't charged my credit card yet, but when they do, I know the knife will be coming!!!
