Hello,
I am interested in buying a CUDA CQB1. I have heard some rumors, that the micarta plates on the handle become loose after some period of time. It would be very helpful for me to get some informations about workmanship and handle design of this knife. Have some of you made similar experiences with that knife?

Thanks for a reply

Matthias

I have owned 3 or 4 of the CQB-1 and a couple of the CQB-2, and I have NOTHING but praise for these knives, and I've never had a problem with the scales coming loose from the knife. The fit, finish, and materials has always been top-notch.

Got a CQB-3 and I have to say that it's an excellent knife. Haven't been using it very hard so far, but I don't see the handle slabs coming loose under heavy use.
It's a solid knife with a grippy handle and an excellent blade (both steel- and designwise). The Nylon/Kydex sheath with its extra pocket is another big plus.

have had a cqb2 for several yrs. it is a tuff knife. compares to doziers in overall concept (i have 2 doziers). the kydex sheath with the CQ is very versatile.

see pix attached.
