Well, I said I would post a review of my new Cammillus Cuda,so I will.
When I walked into the store (LeBaron) I immediatly headed for the knife counter. I spotted the Camillus at once, but kept browsing, they have a lot to choose from.
In the end it was a choice between the Camillus Cuda and a similar knife made by Kershaw. The women behind the counter had previously stated that
the Cuda was a lot nicer, and after inspecting both I had to agree.
The design is really nice, sleek, modern, and it provides comfortable grip while still being thin. Its quite light so it can be carried comfortably in a pocket. It also has a pocket clip. The knife features the ever so common thumb stud, for one handed deployment. The blade is quite wide (which is good, lots of surface area which is great for food prep) and just the right thickness.
I have only carrid it for a few days, but I dont have any complaints (yet?!)
It seems to hold its edge pretty well and is very comfortable and (dare I say it?) fun to use.
The handle is made of 420HC and the blade is AUS 8.
I forgot to mention is there is a hole on the base of the hilt that can be used as a lanyard hole.
Theres not much else to say, I will post a more detailed report after EDCing this knife for a few months. Till then, thanks for reading and stay sharp!
