I GOT LUCKY AND GOT THIS CAMILLUS CUDA ON EBAY, THE SELLER DIDNT SAY CUDA BUT AS FAR AS I CAN TELL THROUGH IMAGE SEARCHES THAT THIS IS THE REAL DEAL. ANYONE GOT INFO ON THESE KNIVES , WHAT MADE THEM SO POPULAR AND WHY THE HIGHER PRICE FOR THEM. THEY WERE USA MADE I KNOW THAT BUT JUST WONDERING WHAT MADE THEM SO SPECIAL. HOPEFULLY YOU CAN OPEN THE ABOVE LINK TO LOOK AT THE PICTURES. ITS BRAND NEW IN BOX.

Sure doesn't look anything like my Cuda. Not even a little. I believe you got a fake there.
 
+1 ^ google the pics of one and you will be able to see what we are talking about.

ETA, it looks like there are more of those on that sight. Maybe it is real? I have one of the silver ones.

this is the real deal i just meant that the seller did not know to call it a cuda , he is not into knives, did you all look at the box and paper work in the pic, and if you do a close up on the pic you can tell its real. I did image searches and it did pull this as authentic. There is also another one on ebay exact same model but thats it. Im convinced its real i just wondered why they were so expensive, thanks though for your imput
 
They were expensive due to the materials they were made from mine has ATS34 blade steel and Ti handles.
 
Apparently these were made in 2004 as a collectors addition for the 80 year anniversary of milwaukee tools. Image searches several different cuda models but this one shows up as well. Pretty cool
 
These were a collaboration between by Darrel Ralph based on his custom coined the "edc" (which had some origins from Darrel's Apogee design) and Camillus.
