Camillus customer support?

I just bought a Camillus Sizzle for my dad and was very pleasingly surprised by how much I liked it. So much so that I'm looking to pick up a Blaze for myself. However, with the news of Camillus virtually all but being a repackaging plant moving forward, I'm wondering what customer support I can expect to receive should I have issues with my Blaze (or my dad's Sizzle) in the future. Not that I expect problems with it for quite some time, but should something happen, it's good to know there's backing. So, what's the thoughts of you people that are more in the know than I (I don't know much)?

Also, I'm trying to decide between the Camillus Blaze and a BM HK 14300. I like the bull-nose shape of the 14300 blade, looks interesting. The Camillus is nice too. Hmm. Watcha all think?

I just saw the HK on Tadgear's site, it looks very nice for the price. I own quite a few Benchmade knives , including two Red Class ( imports) and Benchmade's quality has always been above my expectations. I also have a Camillus Heat and find that to be a very good knife for $45.00...

But if you're concerned with Camillus being around to honor a warranty, you should go with Benchmade. You won't be disappointed.

We are talking about an item less than $100. Its not like its a $40k car. I would not worry about tomorrow on a knife. It could make it worth more in the future if they are gone.

i dont know how much a knife would be worth if it has lock probs and the factory is outta biz and no one can fix it, look at REKAT stuff the rolling lock was famous for lock probs and with them outta biz who can fix it?? i honestly dont know anyone who will work on REKATS, ya probably wouldnt have probs on a cammilus, i had a maxx with lock probs though so it can happen, its something to think about.

on cammilus a lot of olks should be able to do little stuff on them though.
