The Camillus demolition model that was issued to US army corps of engineers, I believe. Looked like the Vic and Wenger Ranger models. I believe the model is 1760.

The S1760 knives are stainless.
Depending on the year, they would be 440b or 440a.
Some of the last years may be 420hc.
Does yours have a year stamped on the blade?

Then it is probably 440b.
I had never heard the term Demo Knife used on it, but it makes sense that some would be used for that. Thanks for the info.
At Camillus it was "Government Stainless" or "S1760".
