Subject: Do you even know what you are talking about?

People like you make me sick! If Camillus cutlery is not a major manufacturer, then I don't know who is. As a former Camillus employee an knife collector/user I think I know more about the company than you, so
let me set you straight. Camillus makes more knives than anyone I know of.
Here is a rundown of some of the companys and knives they manufacture:
Camillus, almost all of the american made Cold Steel including the Trailmaster,
****,****, ********, ***, ******** including the ******, **** *****,
and many runs of special projects such as ***** ***** fixed blade ******. Many
of these companies are definitely major manufacturers (Cold Steel) and if
Cold Steel has Camillus make their knives then what does that say about how
MAJOR Camillus is. Another thing is that even machine grinders make mistakes,
that is why people like me have jobs there. In fact that was one of my jobs there,
fixing things that the machines screwed up. Maybe you should get some basic knife knowledge because you display a complete ignorance, arrogance and lack of understanding about what knives are about. Maybe from now on you should educate yourself before you open your mouth.

Too nice to resist .......a short response sent .....

Hi No Name

No, I have no idea what I am talking about. Thank you for pointing it out to me ...now **** off and bother some ******* that will put up with your ****.

Kind regards

AubreyPS : Sorry for the harsh language but where does this guy come from ...... with employees like him, who needs to proof my point ...or maybe he is ex because they increased the standard of employee??

Well, I'd say this post is sure to be locked! There is no question that Camillus is a MAJOR manufacturer in the cutlery industry....If you do not know that then.........well nevermind! I think you really need to go back to the thread in the Camillus Forum and re-read Jerry's post! We should applaude Camillus for trying to improve the quality of their knives..... Are they comparible to a Busse? Only time will tell! Until then give them credit for striving to improve their American made product line!

I did not read from your original post that you were questioning camillus as a manufacturer, but more along the lines of what Cliff and I were saying...that the proof is in the pudding.

In any case, let's let it rest and let the knives proove out. I myself will probably get their knives as well as the Busse and any other big tough blades because I like them tough.

Jerry and Will both proved to be gentlemen, so why allow a flame war to start. Many of us are end users that buy these products. Buy what you want. Buy both if you like.

Don't let this nonsense get out of hand, neither company deserves it.

I am sure that in the not so distant future the Becker will be run through the testing mill by several people. I am sure that neither Jerry or Andy want a "Cult Following" label to be attached to Busse Combat Knives.

Oh well so much for me being sworn to secrecy. I will edit the above message and catch hell for it as it contains informations which is not, and should not be public knowledge. Who Camillus makes knives for is not for public knowledge. Ya sure most everyone knows about Cold Steel but the others mentioned are not to be talked about.

Forgive me for what I am about to do but I must. Also I will be locking this thread.

Aubrey,

I understand your intent and the you are defending what you feel is right, but I must protect what must be protected. It is late, and I may be making the wrong decision but at this time I must do what I feel is right.
