Camillus Dominator NON-assisted opener?

Does anyone have a review of the Camillus® Dominator Fast One-Hand NON-Assisted Opening folder?

I've got the Dominator (assisted version) and got 3 small chips in the blade (one inch from the tip) after shaving the bark off some small limbs to make throw sticks for my dog. I think this may have occurred when I cut into the knotty parts of the wood.

I don't know if this kind of brittleness is common to S30V steel or maybe the heat treat was off.

In any case it doesn't bother me in the least. With enough resharpenings they'll probably dissapear.

The Dominator has a great feel in the hands and easily passes spine whack tests. Right now it is my semi-permanent edc.

Thanks, digdeep. Sounds good. Maybe there was some grit or something in that bark.
Anyone else with experience with this knife?
