Hi,

Bought an older Camillus EDC with 154CM blade and "1 of 500" on the blade. Can someone tell me more about this blade? Is it actually #1 or is it just one of the 500? I'm curious as to the value as I bought it for an EDC and don't want to beat up and abuse something that is collectable.

Thanks,

GregB

It's probably just 1 of 500 made. I don't know what's special about it, maybe the handle material? Could you show a pic?, thanks.

I think that if it were #1 of 500, it would be marked 001. Camco will be by here and can tell you the skinney on your knife. Pics would be good!

Don't have pics but it is just the standard silver handle, uncoated blade. Was 154 the standard steel on these? I know there were some made with 420 and now there using AUS6/8.

Yes, it's just one of the first 500 made. The first run had all-silver hardware and the 1 of 500 etching on the 154CM blade.
