This is my first attempt to review, so have tolerance, please.

I just recieved my new knife, thanks to a forum member.
I am very impressed with it. It is very comfortable to handle. The action is extremely smooth and the lock up is very solid. Initially, I was a bit doubtfull as the frame lock clicks into place rather quietly and I kept checking to make sure it was locked.

I am a large person with large hands and did have to reposition my grip a bit to open easily as others have noted. I place my fingertips on the clip to avoid piching the blade with the framelock.

The blade is extremely sharp, but that may be due to the previous owners skill at sharpening. It did hold the edge well with some light cutting. Boxes at work and plastic bands that hold furniture boxes together.

I received a Spyderco delica at roughly the same time. While they are both great knives, I prefer the weight of the EDC. The Syderco is almost too light.

The open frame design makes it very easy to clean up.

I have bought quite a few knives recently and this is the first time I felt like sharing my thoughts. I would highly recommend this knife. As many others have.

Thnk you for the review, very clear! Always good to hear how a knife fits different hands too, I have somewhat "fat" hands (my daughter tells me) which do n't fit too all handles well, especially on folding knives. I also prefer slightly heavier more robust knives, FRN handles can be too light and flimsy feeling.
What steel is your EDC?

Thanks for the review. I just got a Camillus EDC in 154CM. I tend to stay away from litter folders, Like them big. After all most big knives can do what a little one does but not the other way around:) However, last week I broke down and decided I'd get a smaller more polictically correct knife. I went to a local store to look around and the Camillus was the only small knife that I could really open with ease. The knife still offered enough handle space to grab so I could one hand open the blade.

Mr. Ralph did a great job on this knife, it's the perfect Every Day Carry and it makes a great little brother to the MAXX:D

Thanks guys.

Mine has the ATS34 steel. From what I understand it is almost the same as the 154CM.

Don't let the knifemaker under my name fool you. I am new to this and I just clicked on the wrong membership when i was buying a gold membership.
Perhaps they should replace "knifemaker" with "cyber-tard"

the edc is truly wonderful, very good knife for a cheap price, very solid and although the blade is not that big it's a no nonsense design that has plenty of edge

I have the talonite version and it is nice.
Camilius did a good job on the cost side.
