Does anyone have one of these, i was given an offer of buying one for 30 dollars, is this a good price for this knife? Does anyone own this knife?

I would check to see which steel is used before buying it. They were initially made using 440, I think, but later switched to 154CM. Either way it is a really great knife for EDC, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

I had one, used it and abused it for close to a year before it finally broke. I have nothing against the knife, and it was completely my fault that it broke (trying to pry apart tack welded steel  ), and if I ever have some money I would buy one again. HTH

I have the 154CM version and love it. American made products that offer (what I think is) more than you pay for make me happy and the Cam EDC has it in spades.

I love mine and if it breaks (moderately abused but never broken so far)I'll get another.

Even the 420HC version is a good buy at $30 in mint condition, and if it's the 154CM version that's a steal. They're excellent knives, one of my favorites.

For thirty bucks, I'd dive on it.

I really liked everything about my EDC except the blade shape. That upturned piggish nose was good for nothing except getting in the way on detail work. The thing is all belly and no point.

The handle and overall feel and quality were exceptional for this price range.

I thought mine was very well-made and well-designed, but the handle was uncomfortably small so I sold it. Just FYI if you have big hands. I don't think mine are that big, either, but most people haven't made this complaint, so I dunno.

I have a couple, both 154CM, one PE and one combo. Overall, a very nice knife. It is thin and the design of the clip allows it to sit very low in the pocket. Not very pointy, but a fairly sharp blade.

I love mine. It's my 'dress' knife for when I get tarted up for meetings etc. Slim and elegant but suprisingly strong for it's size. Very sheeple friendly too.

I do not have big hands and I also thought the handle was too small.. So I sold it and bought the custom piece....

I guess the handle size is a matter of personal preference, I have medium sized hands and find it very comfortable. I liked the design enough to get the more expensive D2 version and have been very pleased with it.

One aspect of the Camilus EDC I never see mentioned is it's "pocketability."

How many of us have had the pockets of dress pants ruined by sharp corners on knives? The Camilus has none! Zero. From every possible angle the corners of the closed knife are rounded, and it is impossible to snag fabric with it. If you work in an environment where you must wear slacks, coat, tie, and the display inherent in clip carry is not a good idea, but you want something more substantial than the tiny knives marketed for this kind of carry, then the Camilus EDC is perfect.

I have one in the old 420, one in 154cm and one in D2. They have all proven to be good knives. My persoanl favorite is the 154cm, its not hard to sharpen, but yet holds an edge for a long time. Not as long as the D2, but it is much easier to sharpen. Its also pretty "sheepish" looking so it does not draw much attention. it does not "print" in the pocket and its very unobtrusive.
