I Have An Old Camillus Wood Scales Electrician's Knife- Steel Liners And Bail, Blade Is Marked "Camillus Cutlery Co. Camillus N.Y. USA" on 4 Lines. This old knife is a keepsake from family- Any Camillus collector out there have an idea of Age? I Assumed WW2 Era To 1950's...thanks

Festus,
The knife that you have is a WWII era TL-29 Electrician's knife. The linings are made from steel due to the shortage (rationing) of brass during WWII. Most of these knives have "TL-29" stamped on a shield inlaid into the handle or have these characters engraved directly into the wood handles.
The TL-29 has a spear blade and combination screwdriver/wire stripper.

Thanks-you guys are great. I was guessing at the WW2 vintage-knife was my dad's - looked the handle over real good but didn't see any marks-about 1/8" is missing from the scale on the screwdriver side along the thumb notch side though the wood remains at all the rivets. It's been carried and sharpened a lot in the past but not goin' anywhere soon - maybe when the grandson is older.
