Did camillus ever produce this pattern, if not under their name then for one of the others? Just interested in the pattern and if anybody has seen one/own one? I realize its a fairly unusual pattern to collect, so info might be hard to come by... just looking for some history:D
thanks

I have seen one, it was a 4 line stamp.

I should have bought it, never seen one since!! :(

Here is a great site about Toes.....(Hah! gotcha...:D)...Toenail knives that is.

http://www.elephanttoenails.com/

Under "The List"...you can find some pictures of Camillus Toenails. Just highlight one of the Camillus listings and hit search. There are 5 under one listing, although not each has a picture.

so its safe to say camillus hasnt made one for a really long time...
All i keep finding are case, schatt & morgan, fight n rooster, etc., call me crazy but i would love a camillus or comparable toenail, looks like i better not hold my breath...
thanks guys!

El lobo, thanks for the link i have been on that website before, pretty cool, a little discouraging when i see the prices some of these knives are fetching, even the newer case knives easily climb over 100 bucks quick, alas i lack the deep pockets so i watch them slip away:mad: (on ebay)

There's one on ebay now, but the seller is questionable..

acourvil, please keep in mind i'm a newb but what makes that particular seller questionable? I mean the knife has been cleaned, but he states that, the knife looks perfect, maybe too perfect, dunno.
I'm just trying to expand my knowledge a bit ive only made a handful of purchases on ebay, and would love to know what to watch out for.
If my car woes hadnt left me wiped out id probably be bidding and watching that knife slip away from me cause im a thrifty bastard:D
thanks

Do a search for his username in Bernard Levine's forum; there is a pretty long history.

acourvil, went and read some of them... wow, definitely worth remembering his name, is he known as a cleaner or a creator of franken-knives, either way no matter how bad i want a camillus toenail i know to pass on his creations.
thank you!
