Camillus fighter partially Serrated with saw back and Kydex sheath

I recently purchased a Camillus Mk2 style fighter with a parked blade partially serrated and has a saw back spine and a Kydex USA sheath. I know this is one of the last models Camillus made before they closed , its in excellent condition. The handle is leather ,Black with a black kydex sheath. Does anyone know anything about this knife. I was thinking that it might of been a military issue but I'm not sure.Thanks

Yes pictures, please. This will make it possible to talk more specifically about the knife you have. That being said, from what you described IMHO I doubt that it is a knife or bayonet that was part of a government contract. But what you have could be different than what I'm picturing from the description.

Very nice knife. It is a variation on the Mark II fighting utility knife that Camillus started making for government contract back in WW2. From what I can make out in the first picture of the mark on the ricasso it looks like it was made in the 90's or later. Best to wait for those on the forum who were there to chime in. At this time I would think that it was made for commercial sale. But that wouldn't rule out something like direct unit purchase either. It's a knife I wouldn't mind adding to my collection.:thumbup:

I saw the Kydex Sheath in the Camillus 2006 catalog but I ddin't see the knife . I'm sure its rare because I have already searched on the internet for it and didn't find another one like it.

I thought there would be someone on this site that knew something about this knife. I would like to know the model and name so I could find another one like it. I guess its very rare.
 
I got this from the seller , MAC PART# USCOMBAT02 CAMILLUS PART # 5684MK Thanks for the information Mountainwind, I have been searching the internet alot but I haven't found any of these knives.
