Picked up a nice little Camillus jack the other day. The clip blades tip was gone, however, a few careful passes on the grinding stone along with a good cleaning and the knife was good to go! My ? is, the # 14 is stamped on the back of the clip blade tang. Does this indicate the handle type, model, or what perhaps? The handle is jigged red bone. Curious to know. Thank you in advance for any shared insight, Dale Hemphill (the flip of the tang is stamped Camillus, underscored,New York,U.S.A. )

I believer that 14 is the model. I have a couple and really like them. They are a nice size; a little smaller than an Old Timer 330T and much more usable (for my fat fingers) than a Peanut.

Here's my nicest Camillus 14 with my ugliest Case 6292.

RevolverG, Thanks for your info sharing. When I showed it to the fellow who sold it to me today he couldn't believe it was the same knife. Nice looking Case you show in your photo ! Thanks again! Dale Hemphill (Keep the edge sharp!)
