Camillus "Kabar" style knife

I've got an unused Camillus USMC style knife. It has a very dark, almost black leather handle and sheath. Any way to tell when it was made? Are the Camillus "Kabars" collectible?

I have one too. Mine was purchased 30 years ago or so at an Army Navy store. I don't think they are collectable. They would however certainly have value as that is a lot of knife.
