Does anyone collect Camillus knives, I found this in my fathers tool chest and I know it is old. I am willing to part with it if you can give me any info (date) about the knife. I see it looks as if the second blade is missing it's tip.

I have the same knife, it is an electrician's style knife. I believe made between the 60's and 80's but not 100% sure. The handle scales are a very hard plastic. The blades are carbon steel. As for the second blade it is a wire stripper, it did not originally have a tip, so don't worry it's not broken.

I use mine every now and then, the steel holds a fine edge for a decent amount of time. It is a rather hefty knife though, heavy in the pocket.

That's a TL-29 Camillus. A Radio Operators knife. Go to the Camillus site and ask them the mfg. date. DM

Thank You very much Mr. Martin,
Found out my TL-29 was made between 1941- 1946, it is a 4 liner and is a electrician 's knife. Found the second blade is not broken but a screwdriver and it locks in place with a liner lock. They say it is a common knife and many were made over the years.

Thanks Again , Michael

Description is spot on. Very common blade. Nice with age but that is about it. Still nice to have a blade with this many years on it...

Don't sell it short, it is a common design, made by lots of companies for a long time. But yours is a nice example of a WWII knife. I'd treasure it for the piece of history it is.
