Camillus Love

Hello gentlefolk,

The more carry and use my Camillus (717 single blade trapper, 1989-2007 tang stamp) the more I love it,
But to be honest it's my first Camillus, and I know nothing about it, It looks to be Stainless blade(440ish?) carbon steel spring with ND bolsters, plastic scales by the looks?
Curious to know if the shield is pinned or glued?

From the angle shown, glued.
Look at the liners behid the shield. If pinned, you'll see the pin(s) peened to the liner.
