Has anyone attempted to compile a list of brand names and models that were made by Camillus for other companies?

It would be alot easier to list the brands Camillus did not make! :D

To my utter amazement, I found that the Klingon high command also had knives made by Camillus. So the late company was not just the Knifemakers knife maker, but the universe's knife maker.

not really a trekkie,

I have seen references that some models of Uzi and Rigid knives were made here, anybody have knowledge of this?

The Terminator Dagger? The knife named Blade Magazine knife of the year in the early nineties?
Riata

Camillus made the T2 dagger sold by United, as well as the prop knives for the Terminator 2 movie.

Soque River

The Lev-R-Lock was made by Camillus. After Soque River went out of business, Camillus continued making the Lev-R-Lock with their own name.

That's how I recall the story anyway...

Here are two others I've been wondering about:

Did Timberline Knives have their own factory for making the Timberlite, or did they contract it out to someone? Camillus for instance?

The Case TriFold doesn't feel like anything else that Case has ever made; seems like something Camillus could have made for them. Case doesn't do much with molded plastic or liner-less handles...

Bob W, Camilus did some work For Case that I'm sure of the models I'm not.:( I"ll bet Camco can shed some Light!:D

Camillus did make several knives for Timberline.

Case was also a Camillus customer, but the (rather strange) tri-fold was not produced at Camillus.

Camillus did make the low-budget version of the Timberline Specwar that they called the "Pilot Survival Knife".

Thanks for the information.

Any idea about the Timberlite from Timberline Knives? These were mass-produced by somebody, and I noticed a large supply of "bulk packed" TimberLites hit the market shortly after Camillus closed. A clue, or a coincidence?

Well then, I just might have more Camillus knives than I previously thought.

 ;)

Anyone not familiar with this "newly discovered" member of the Camillus family, here is one with clear handles showing the unique locking mechanism:

These were available in at least two different sizes, several different colors, and with plain edge and partially serrated blades. Would make an interesting mini-collection if someone gathered the different variations together. Last seen retail for $8 at Smoky Mountain Knife Works.

Camillus also made the riggers knives for Case from 1980 until about 2003. Mostly they made the Camillus 696 as a Case 6246R. They also made some Camillus 695 models with yellow scales for Case. I'm not sure of the Case number, but it's the Camillus 695.

Since I collect riggers, I've also noticed that the Colonial 07 seems to be identical to the Camilluys 697. I have found this curious since I had not seen the 697 pattern, which was actual naval issue, made for anyone other than Case, as I mentioned above.
