Camillus micarta, meet the BK5.

I recently purchased a Camillus BK7 from the exchange.
It came with the Camillus micarta which I've been after for awhile now.
I promptly put the scales on my beloved BK5.
BK5, Camillus micarta, and a NixKustoms sheath.
I'm really loving this setup!

Yes they are flat on the sides.
They feel pretty good. A little blocky, but not too bad.
The edges are pretty well rounded so they're not uncomfortable.
I haven't got a chance to use them for any extended period of time, but I'll be sure to report back.
