Picked up this yellow Camillus Stockman. Dates to around 1977.

Slim, sleek designed knife. Sheepfoot has nail nick on the mark side of the knife.

I like that one, Hal.

Nice find. The sheepfoot blade looks like it sits nice and low in the closed position. Interesting that they used the term maize to describe the color. I hadn't seen that before.

Yes...I have to agree with everyone Hal, what a great knife, its in amazing condition as well...very well done Sir

Thanks for the comments. I'd never seen this particular knife, nor have I seen rosette rivets either. I'm sure it is unused, though it does have an hairline rivet crack. It has GEC level snap on all three blades. I gave it a good shot of Rem Oil. It does look great, though that lowriding sheepsfoot is a little bit of a challenge to dig out with a big fat bitten thumbnail. I actually got a matched pair, and the other one's sheepsfoot sits a little higher.

The seller threw in the two old Camillus boxes, a sweet bonus when I opened the box.

That's a sweet knife. It's great that you have a pair + the boxes. I too like that longer than usual & low riding sheepsfoot.

Hal, That's a nice one! I like that low riding sheepsfoot,
That makes it even better for me! Thanks for sharing!
I'd like to find one myself...

I've seen those in pictures before, never in person. Sure is pretty.

Sheepsfoot nail nick on the mark side and it still doesn't stick up a lot is:thumbup::thumbup:

Great score Hal... Much like Schrade, Camillus put out some great products at reasonable prices.

I was fortunate to talk to one of the Camillus reps at the big Eugene show some years back. Great guy... We talked about their products, the company history, and the pride that everyone had working there. I ended up leaving with a couple great knives.
It was sad the next year when I went to the show. The Camillus table had their tag on it, but nobody was there.

That knife is a monument to that great company!!
Camillus R.I.P!
Nice knife, Hal!
