Guys I have a pilot knife,on the pommel I think thats what its called it says CAMILUSS 1974 im pretty sure thats when it was made. But my question is there are 2 holes on the tang and was wondering what they are used for, they are place on the top half of the tang.Thank you always.FEATHERSTONE

The stamping on the butt of the Pilot Survival knife indicates the year of manufacture. The stamping "6-84" indicates June, 1984. The two holes in the guard can be used to lash the knife to a wooden pole to create a spear. Other features built into this knife include sawteeth that will cut through a plane's fuselage and the butt can be used as a hammer.
