I have one and since they are not made any more plan on purchasing another soon. Does anyone know if the later version were better at having the blade centered than the early ones? I have had several, most of which the blade either wasn't centered or would nearly rub on the obverse handle, but I don't know if this was ever improved upon or all version had the same issues. If this was fixed, can anyone tell me what Camillus did? The Dominator is my favorite folder to date and I would like to get another one, but want to make sure it is the best available. Thanks.

They did vary somewhat on final point position closed.

Tightening sequence of the assembly screws is probably the factor involved.
Too many different people assembled them at different time periods.

If the blade did not drag on the handle, it was not rejected! Management decision to speed up production of Cudaville! (In the finest tradition of the Poiny Haired Boss). :p

Thanks for the reply Phil. Since tightening sequence is one of the factors, do you remember what the best sequence would be? While we are at it, do you have any other suggestions to center the blade better? I know that when I have looked at two of the ones I have, I thought the clearance between the pivot and the blade should be smaller, but I certainly understand slightly larger clearance to accommodate manufacturing tolerances.
