Some years back, a girlfriend of mine bought me a nice Camillus lockback that had been customized by Santa Fe Stoneworks. It was a beautiful knife and, being the idiot teenager I was, I screwed it up. I tried sharpening it and really messed the blade up. Now it's got some nice deep scratches along the sides of the primary bevel and has a really messed up secondary (cutting) bevel. The tip is rounded somewhat and there's some noticeable blade play (back and forth mostly). The lock is nice and tight, though.

I think if I can get the blade cleaned up, this could be a nice user. I've no real experience with this sort of thing, so can someone get me on the right path? I'll try to get some pics of it this week. I'm thinking I can press the pivot pin just a tad to tighten up the blade play? Also, anyone know anything about these knives, like what model I might have (looks like the big Buck lockback we all had growing up), what steel, etc.?

Thanks!
