The sculpted drop point blade of the Sierras are a special blend of satin finished high carbon stainless steel that holds an edge, but is extremely corrosion resistant. The checkered handles are molded of high impact black Zytel, a nearly indestructible glass-reinforced nylon that is usually reserved for more expensive knives. A metal pocket clip comes standard.

"The Sierra series is destined to be the new benchmark in an economy grade, American manufactured one-hand opener," claims Camillus Cutlery's President James Furgal. "We planned the finest materials, design, and engineering into the Sierra series-we challenge our customers to show us a better value for any knife in or around its price range."
