This knife is awesome! Thanks Garageboy! Here are my thoughts on it:

Blade:
The blade shape is excellent. It is small, but perfect for everyday light use. It's made of aus-8, but I don't have anything to compare it to, so I can't say anthing about it's edge holding. So far it's been great with cutting paper and light stuff. But I did manage to make a slight dull spot with some sandpaper when I was sanding down a sharp spot by the flipper and didn't notice that I was also sanding the blade. I noticed it before I did too much damage.

Handle:
This IMO, is the best part of the knife. It is extremely solid, grips well, and doesn't feel like cheap plastic. I think every zytel handle should have metal liners. It has a nice heft to it, and is grip filling for such a small knife.

Lock:
The lock is amazingly solid. It almost locks too well. I sometimes have trouble unlocking it. I have trouble getting enought purchase on the liner to unlock it. I also like the folded over feature. The detent is very strong. After playing with it for a while, my finger starts to hurt from pressing the flipper. I have to put a fair amount of pressure on it to make it go. I like the sound when the detent ball snaps into the blade.

Assisted Opening:
This is nice. Really, that's all there is to it, it's really nice. It snaps the blade open really fast, with a satisfying snick . And when it's closed, it stays closed. There is no way to accidentally open it. I put it in the bottom of my pocket with stuff in it, and I rolled around on the ground. It didn't open. For you people who are concerened about it opening in your pocket, don't be. It won't open unless you make it. After playing with it for a while, my finger hurt from opening it too much. The flipper is kinda sharp, and makes an imprint on my finger. I think I'm gonna get some adhesive foam and tape it on.

Overall:
This is a great knife. This knife beats many knives that cost way more than it does. If this is anything like it's bigger brothers (Blaze and Heat), then all of these are a steal for the price. IMO, get it. :D

PS: This is my first review, so take it easy on me ;) . If there's any more you guys want, I'll be happy to tell you.

Kryosphinx, good review. I always like to see someone excited about a new knife. I think it's like that for a lot of us around here! Enjoy!
I have all three knives from that line and find each one has something to bring to the table. (my Heat is a little large for my liking) I rotate several knives in the 3" blade length and I always come back to the Blaze.
As for the AUS8, I find it's edge holding capability very good and as far as I know, it's cryo treated and holds up well. I presume the Sizzle is cryo also.
One more thing, the larger sizes don't "dig" into your fingers as bad.

I also ease the sharp edges on the flipper! :)

I handled the Sizzle at a store today, and that was my biggest concern. I felt unsafe, having to exert a lot of pressure to unlock the blade, against such a small handle. If the handle was larger, my hand and fingers would have had a better anchor to push so hard against. The liner lock tab is pretty tiny, also, so that adds to the difficulty in releasing it. On the positive side, this would make the blade less likely to accidentally release. But I'd rather not fight with my knife, so I'm giving the Sizzle a miss, and instead am considering the Blaze.

I'd say the Sizzle is a good knife for people with small, but strong, hands.

I got used to the strong lock after a while. I think it takes a small break in period. Now I can close it no problem.

I have the Heat and Blaze and love'em both:D For me, the Sizzle was just a tad small, though it would not be beyond me to ultimately acquire one:) The Heat was just a bit big for my day to day stuff, but the Blaze fits really well into most of the things that I do. Basically the same category as my Spydie Delica and BM Mini-Grip - very pocketable/clippable combined with good utilitarian capability for the things that I do. I do carry small ones with me as well - a Dragonfly and Meerkat and the little guys definitely have their place. Glad you like it - it's a pretty nice design - Darrel has great designs- I have a Cuda EDC and a few of his kits in my collection:D

Just received mine yesterday, yup pretty cool knife. Just one thing bugs me, alot of web sites say "fastest opening on the market"... nah, I don't think so, my SOG Blink is faster and so is my Kershaw Chive. Perhaps I just need to adjust it, or maybe needs to be broken in a bit more. Just my two cents worth.

I sure Love my Camillus Heat, came SHARP, centered blade, grinds were great, I wouldn't worry to much about the blade opening when you don't want it to, it takes alot of pressure to release it (designed that way for safety) one knife that's worth every penny IMHO. And it's FAST !

I Just Ordered 10-heat Robo Assisted Knives With Plain Blades For 198.00 Back When They First Came Out I Paid 80.00 For 1 The First One Has Held Up Very Well Any Knife I Carry Has To Be Tuff Or It Will Not Survive What I Put It Through.how Much Do They Usually Cost.

I have a Blaze and a Heat. Both are great knives. Never given a bit of trouble. The blades hold up plenty good for a pocket knife in aus-8, and both handle well. Get 'em while you can.
