Does anybody else collect any of these CAMCOS? I have both colors and have always been fascinated with these boys knives. These have siren whistles in the end or mouthpieces. To find them with the leashes in tact is always the best!

Thanks guys, as you can tell by the design, they came out in the late 50s to early 60s I believe. i have an image of the card they came on somewhere around here. See if I can find it.

My very first knife had that blade combo and the short bolsters and pearly stuff. It was an International Paper gifter. Wish I still had it.

I've NEVER seen ones like that, how strange! lol They def have that 50's/60's look to them just by the colors and design. Thanks for sharing, interesting knives.

Interesting-looking knives, very reflective of their time. Certainly new to me

(I was born in 1961, so the 60's is just a haze of Park Drive cigarette smoke and Double Diamond fumes! :D)

That's funny Jack, I was born in '60 we called the ensuing years, the foggy years... ;) :)

Those CamCo knives have always been on my way list, those and the Dick Tracy knife with the whistle, I had a chance once at an estate sale to buy the Spaceship ones on the display card missing one knife, coulda got the card with knives for $80, I stopped at $70 because the guy bidding against me didn't seem to be letting up, so I stopped.

Talked to the guy later on and tried to see if maybe he would sell me one seein'as how the card was missing one anyway, he politely told me no and said he now has to find 1 knife to complete the display.

Before I left I got to talking knives with the guy and turned out he was a collector to and this was his first major score, I had asked him just out of curiosity how much higher he would have big and he told me ask he had on him was $75, if I would of went to $80 if be liking for one to finish the card... :)

I do have a Colonial Planters Peanut pen knife from the 60s.

The Dick Tracy is also a Camco. Unfortunately I'm missing the clue detector, but the handles glow in the dark!
