I was going thru the Camillus catalogs that are posted online, thank you for this resource, when I noticed that the standard Camillus pocket knifes were never identified as exactly what grade of stainless steel was used for the blades. I would think that it was a 400 series of some sort but other then that I have no idea. I have carried around a #3 lockback for nearly twenty years with no issues on the blade and it seems to hold a very nice edge. Does anyone have knowledge on steel used?
