I just finished most of a TL-29 restoration, but there's one thing I'm not happy about and wish I could change. The knife has very good springs, but the blade "sets" at a cant, and probably always has. Its 10 degrees short of being in line with the spring. Is there anything I can do about this or is it best to leave well enough alone? Thanks.

They may end up moving this to "Tinkering and Embellishment".

You may be able to file down the end of the spring so that the blade can fully extend open (if that's what you mean). I'd probably do that rather than mess with the blade tang itself.

Just be careful not to take too much off. And show us pics of your finished work
