I have one of these, that was listed as being mint nib, coming my way... (made in 1993). With a Schrade knife on it's way, I felt the need for a Camillus to be added in as well. This Camillus Toothpick is part of a series called 'Camillus Classic Cartridge' series. The Toothpick is done in the 7mm Mauser cartridge. The handles are jigged bone with grooved nickel silver bolsters. With the old Camillus factory only being about 7 or 8 miles down the road from me, I felt sad when they went under. I used to give them as gifts sometimes, but never kept a good specimen for myself... so hopefully this one will be the one :-) I am more excited about this one than any recent order I have made on pocket knives.

Having never owned a rifle in 7mm Mauser (but one in 8mm)... well, it also adds a first in a sort'a kind'a way, lol! ;-)

I'm not a huge fan of the toothpick pattern, but that is still a beautiful knife. I need to get a good specimen of a Camillius knife as well. I think it's only fitting, if only to remember the once great United States company.

Here is another pic I found online that shows the knife in closed position, and also the old school artwork on the box.

I had the exact same knife and regret to this day for having sold it!!!

Its is a terrific knife---enjoy.

My fingers are crossed that it winds up being all I expect it to be... again, this one excites me more than any other recent knife order I've made... We shall see... pics will follow after it arrives:-)
