There was also a CP75 with the same blade as the Western W75. Came out in 1993.
The CP77 came out in 1994.
Both were made with 440A stainless steel and were made with a "matte" finish.
In 1995 or 1996 (don't have a 1995 catalog), they started making the knives with black powder-coating finishes on the blades. Still 440A steel.
In 1997, they added the Kydex sheath option. Marketing wise, the Camillus model numbers added a "K" if the knife shipped with a Kydex sheath, e.g., CP77-K or CP75-K were stamped on the box end-flaps. The knives were still stamped with only a CP75 or CP77. No "K"s on the blade stamp.
Also in 1997, they added a pair of single edge boot knives, the CP74-K and the CP76-K. Blade lengths the same as the CP75/CP77, but with a single edge saber grind, based on pictures in the 1997 New Products catalog.
I have never personally seen, much less held, either a 74 or a 76. Rather rare ducks, and must not have been made for very long.
