Hi. Just got a knife at the SF Cow Palace gunshow today...
I have a Camillus lock back folder marked with USMC in a box on the left handle. There's a serial number of 892 on the right side. The handles are painted steel. The 3 5/8" satin partially serrated blade is a clip point design. The knife has a lanyard hole. The knife is 1/4 " thick. And it's sharp! Overall length is a little over 5".
Any (historical) ideas on when it was made and what kind of steel might have been used?
Thanks,
Joe
