Note the new Cold Steel models being made in Japan and China, which formerly had "Carbon V" models available which were made by Camillus.
At first I thought "this is the fallout from the Camillus decline," but then I thought Cold Steel was certain to eventually move production for a lot of stuff to China, so the reverse was true. Any company that ever made a Bowie knife out of 420 is surely looking for the next cheap thing.
