i got these two just recently. they are pretty good, low priced assissted openers, i felt they deserved a mention. both knives are in the 30-35 dollar range

the camillus wildfire looks like an updated version of the heat, the handle is pretty cool, aluminum with g10h inlay and a safety switch on the side. hefty, and stronger than the lighter heat.

they are much better than i expected, i would always seem the advertised for such low prices.

the wildfire is aus 8, made in taiwan

the heat is 440c, made in spain

They asre good knives for the price and I have a few of each, plus some of the older ones from Camillus before they closed. SKMW sell them for $25 & $30. The one marked Spain are made in China, as Spain has a wierd customs law that allows products to be exported labelled "Product of Spain" if made elsewhere and shipped out by a Spainish holding compnay. If it was "made in Spain" it would be truly made there ( most likely at least).....I like them both....nice safety on the wildfire....Remington offers them for a lot more $$ but with three different blade styles....

Yes Tom is right. The Swift-Lok is Remintons version back when Camillus was
makeing their products still. I have one of each and my impression is that the
really early Cuda Dominator was the best (but very pricy) This latest Wildfire
is alot of really good knife for the bucks...solid and well built.
