Camillus has recreated a number of their
historic knives -- the WWII version of
the Marine Fighting Knive, the MK-4
Bayonet w/ stacked leather handle, etc.
I have seen authentic Camillus-made U.S.
Navy knives, issued in World War II,
bearing "Camillus" and "U.S.N." on the
blades, and having black, stacked-leather
handles. However, good-quality specimens
of these are both rare and expensive.
Perhaps Camillus would consider reproducing
these again for collectors???
