Other might know something I don't but Cammilus is done as far as I know and there is no one around to honor warranty's. If you want a Warranty buy a Ka-Bar.

well...I like the Cammilus....just wondering if Becker was honoring their products. they have changed companies twice. What good is a lifetime warrenty if the company goes defunct... hey Kabar may be next

Kabar is not going any time soon. Camillus is still in operation, but is owned by Acme Co. (?)... They probably will not honor it, but the best way to check is to call their
business. In my opinion, though, Kabar makes the Beckers knives slightly better than their older brothers. Camillus was a great company, though.

Good point, although the cammilus 9 is a tank and I doubt you'll have any problems.

more than twice actually :)

lifetime... who's lifetime? yours? the products? or ... the company's...

if one looking for a product with a current warranty, buy KaBar. if one is looking to abuse the warranty, and get a free/new knife, think twice. they don't like that.

breakage on Beckers is fairly rare, and usually intentional abuse, so, buy what you want. chances are it's going to last.

Yea.. a stupid question to begin with...on my part.

The bk 9 has been a workhorse in the world of bushcraft and has not failed in the least..just curious....I will try to keep that to a minimum..

i've seen less than a handful of BK9s broken, ever... and almost all of them imho were abuse. there we go.
