That looks awesome... I do find the handles very comfortable but i may try this anyways... One thing i do is add a little traction tape to the handle for winter hikes to reduce the chance of slippage in snowy conditions.
That looks awesome! I've done that to a few of my tomahawk handles. If you wanted...you can take it a step further. You can now actually use lacquer and brush on 5 or 6 coats (just enough to soak and seal into the tape). This will make the camo tape much more durable and it won't peel or fade. If it gets dirty you can just wash it off like you would the grivory handles and it will look like new again instead of having to re-tape and cut the tape all perfect again.
After the final coat...just before it dries completely hard....you can use an exact knife and trace the entire grivory handle where you've attached the tape and this will allow you to remove the handles when ever you like. Until then.....it will be permanent! You can use glossy to really make that camo stand out or stick with a mat finish.
Anyway....just a few ideas I've used. Looks great though.....you did a good job.
