Does that seem like a good deal at a retail store? I've never owned a blade in S30V and I want the military, I just don't want to over pay.

So, should I get it? They also have the black version for 190. Not sure why it costs more.

You can find a much better deal online, it only takes a few days shipping and you'd save at least 50 bucks.

yeah, just do a Goolge search... you should be able to find it for under $140. CONGRATS on choosing one of the best folding knives ever made. period!

Little tip, at least check on ebay for a knife your gonna buy before you buy it. Check the "buy it now prices" and thats probably what you can buy it for online if you dont know any online sites.

I usually go to Cutleryshoppe.com, poorfish.com, or Howesknifeshop.com for spydies, they're all trustworthy places as well.

BTW, Crimson Tide, How are your sharpening skills. Don't let that millie get dull.

No, you just have to work it a little longer then some of the softer steels.

The edgepro will make quick work of it.

 No problem with edge pro. S30v holds a nice edge for a while. Like frontline said, it's a bit harder and abrasion resistant than other stainless steels.

So that's a brick and mortar store right? That would explain the price.

If you wanna save money, ya buy online for sure.

That's the sadness of B&M stores. I like to support local stores and touch what I am going to buy, but it becomes difficult and expensive when they charge at or near MSRP for their wares.

saw it on amazon for like 124 w/ free shipping. You actually have to click on the black military on amazon and it leads you to a digi camo one.
