Camp Blades

i'm goin camping this weekend and was wondering what knives to bring. I'll list the ones that i was thinkin about bringing forcamping and fishing.

Fixed:

1. Buck 119
2. Kabar warthog

Out of those 2 which one

Folding:

1. Buck 110
2. Vaquero Grande
3. CRKT M-16
4. Cold Steel Scimitar

So which of both types of knives i should bring? i didn't list all my knives but just the ones i'm not worried about gettin a little banged up

Don't need all of em, just bring the 110, it's all you should need. I never have a need for much more. I usually bring the standard tent, sleeping bag, swiss army knife, bigger folder (like a buck 110), hatchet, shotgun, first aid kit, compass, etc..
 
I agree with the Buck 110, big folder but compact enough to be manageable. It doesn't hurt to have a fixed blade, and I'd take the Warthog, better at prying and digging and chopping or batoning.

yea i'm takin a folder and fixed so i'll probalbly go with the 110 and warthog. i just gotta go out and pick up the 110
 
I second Esav's recommendations
Sharpmaker, can you give some details on that knife. I like the bunnies on there. I have two pet bunnies. I'd love to get a knife similar to that.
 
with pleasure Bobwhite. I will put it in a different thread to make sure we don't hijack this thread.
 
My last trip was in the Anza-Borrego Desert and I got by just fine with a neck knife and a slip joint.
